I was in practice in Santa Barbara from 1982-2021. I now live and work in Cambria, offering remote and in-person sessions. I embrace a somatically-based process-oriented approach to psychotherapy. This taps into people's natural drives for completion and growth, in a non-interpretative manner. I integrate a focus on the body and the nervous system, with EMDR.

Working with couples, I also find it helpful to utilize the natural dynamics that exist in committed relationships. These elicit the personal challenges that emerge as one tries to meet their needs as an individual and as a partner.
