My clients tend to be sensitive, intuitive caretakers, creative artists, and helping professionals with literary and philosophical leanings who are looking to heal inner conflicts and relationship problems. These issues often have their roots in early attachment wounds or traumatic experiences that are causing difficulties in relationships, symptoms of depression, anxiety, physical complaints, or loss of motivation.Often, my clients have come to a place in their lives where they recognize it's time to do their inner work in order to create the outer life they dream of, and they continue to grow long after therapy has ended.
My work integrates evidence based Depth and Somatic psychologies in a relational context. Sessions tend to be process oriented and emotionally focused, using sensation in the body, dreams, imagination, and physical symptom as a way to explore unmet needs and feelings that have become stuck.
My education includes a BA in English Literature/Creative Writing, and an MA in Theatre Arts from CSU Fullerton. A subsequent MA in Counseling Psychology was earned from Pacifica Graduate Institute, where I currently serve as adjunct faculty and Clinical Practicum Associate. I also provide clinical supervision.
